Unconditional Love. :">

A day full of laughter and tears. :">

Dec. 24, 2010, the first day I held our baby. The day that I knew would change my outlook in our relationship. That day was kinda blurry and vivid for me. All I remember was that I went back to school to get my guitar from Bryle together with Pauline. I wasnt expecting that he would give me something that would attach as up to this day, Dec. 24, 2011. :">

Until now, I cant express how happy I am that I have someone like him in my life. Someone who would comfort me through my greatest sufferings, through my triumph and happiness, though my mood swings and explainable behavior...Someone who could love me for who I am and ACCEPT me for what Im not. We know each others weaknesses and pain. Our flaws and differences. But you know what the greatest part is? We understand each other very well that we dont need to brag it out. All we have to do is look into each others eyes and a touch from each others embrace would solve everything.

I LOVE HIM AND I KNOW HE LOVES ME BACK AS MUCH. ♥

And that is all that matters. Whatever happens, I will be forever by his side and I will never leave him nor let him go...We are stronger than what other people think. Times and problems have made us tough and lean. He is my everything and I know I could never find someone like him again...

Love, Thank you for everything. For the Undying love and understanding. I know we can make this. I know we can be together, forever...I love you so much! Forever! My husband, my Alphonse. :">

No words can describe how much I love you, my love.
Thank you for everything. *hug!! Stay strong and never lose hope! Keep on praying. Coz I know we'll make it through...

Dec. 24, 2011.
We first had our moments. I know we missed each other very much. :D
Then we ate our lunch @ Perry Tods. Yumm! ♥ .We went to Sm City to take our picture together with our Baby. awwww. ^^ I was shy at first. lol. Then we were about to find Mickey a dog tag but it wasn't available. Damn! oh well. :"> we went around for a while the finally took our pictures and bought the Cake. Back to their house again. :D

We watched "I am number 4" while goofing around. :"> Then we ate the cake! ^^

The most heart racing thing?! I finally introduced him to my mother! Well,it went well. Lol! IM SOOO HAPPY!! :D

THANK YOU SOO MUCH JOHN ALPHONSE JIMENA! ♥

U-N-I-Q-U-E

GOD MADE US ALL UNIQUE

As the saying goes, “God made us all UNIQUE”, it is self explanatory and easy to understand. But at times, there will always be people who’ll belittle themselves and think they are worthless and incapable...
The girl says, “I am weird”, while the boys replies, “I like you”. Throughout our differences and incompetence, there will be always be someone who will appreciate and love us for who we are. Just like how God made us all unique and special in our own ways, He also loves us equally and without measure. It’s not also right to compare ourselves with other people, instead, adore them and make them as an inspiration for us to keep on striving. Or much wiser, compete with ourselves and improve the things that are need to be improve, cherish the gifts God has given us and thank Him for all the blessings in our life, whether it may be - bad or good. For all those challenges, when surpassed, will always be a worthwhile experience.
As for us high school students, there are times when it’s really hard to fit in and sometimes suffer from identity crisis. The majority would always sit with the coolest person or maybe the cooler kids wouldn’t even hang out with the nerds and will just need them if they have to copy some assignments. But it’s not right to just hang out with a person just because you need their help or you want something from them. You befriend someone because at some point, you both have something in common or even not, but you just enjoy each other’s company. In order to gain friends, the first rule is just BE YOU. No more pretentions and false words.
Being true to yourself is so much easier than lying and pretending to be something you’re not. You are not only deceiving them, but also yourself. Be happy for who you are and what you’re not. God only gives what’s best for us and is fair. He knows when to give and for whom it should be. We ought to be happy for the blessings and also be happy for the others too.

Being unique is what we have in us. It may be the only thing we all have in common. Ironic isn’t it? J

Pag - Iririmaw '11

PAG – IRIRIMAW 2011
Every year the University Student Council (USC) holds the festive University Acquaintance or known as Pag – iririmaw. With the theme, “Rio Carnival”, the high schools were given the Under the Sea basis.
With Angelica Fabiana as the Chairperson in this activity, together with the help of all the high school students, the ILS (secondary) community united in a bond that no one could ever break. It was then that all of us were helping each other in preparing the costumes, practicing for our mass dance contest and bonding as a family even for just a speck of time.
As for the talents that represented the high school students, Salve Marie Gumban from the juniors and Dax Gabriel Celis fought their way in the search for Mr. and Ms. Pag – iririmaw ’11. Eventually they didn’t bag the said contest but, we are still proud of them.
Days before the most awaited event, the selected high school students from the freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors were practicing for the mass dance contest with our trainer Fritz, a student from PESCAR.
For almost 1 and half day, we made everything possible. With team work, cooperation and the willingness to have fun and enjoy every moment, we lend our time and efforts in making this event worthwhile.
As the day we most awaited for came, we changed into our costumes made by the other high school students themselves and wished ourselves luck. We were the first performers. As we enter the grounds, we were all feeling nervous, but we thought, this is our time, this is our moment, and it is now or never. We have to show them what we are capable of and we can stand and prove to them that we are the ILS students of West Visayas State University.
As we danced, smiled, and unleashed everything we’ve got, they were awed by our performance and were amazed on how the high school community progressed in the contest, for we were always the underdogs. But we were here to have fun and unite as one. Win or lose, we are still winners for we won another medal; the medal of friendship.

STUDENT LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

Every year the University Student Council (USC) spearheads the Student Leadership Development Program or better known as SLDP. Its main goal is to teach selected student council members in West Visayas State University to enhance their leadership skills and making a team out of an organization.
The High School Student Council (HSSC) delegates were Rachelle Angeli Maranon (Chairperson), Maphete Dianne Lustre (Vise – Chair), Winona Yvonne Olimpo (Secretary), Angela Joy Fernandez (Asst. Treasurer), Mary Zeliet Paris (HS Representative), and Philip Christian Suplico (3rd year Rep) together with the delegates of the high school publication – Blue Quill with Lauderdale Robite and Michael Andre Treyes.
With the theme, “Empowering WVSU Student Leaders through Effective and Responsible Organization Movement”, they emphasized that all young leaders to give ample time to the council they are in; to serve without asking in return and to bring out every leader in each and everyone.
The said event was enthusiastically joined by every council in WVSU main campus and external as well. It was held in El Grand Resort and Convention Center, Alta Tierra Village, Jaro Iloilo City last May 16 – 18.
The registration started at 12:00pm to 1:00pm. During the registration, we were given our seat plans, teammates, room numbers, etc. We were grouped randomly for us to know everyone and to also mingle. It started with a prayer followed by the singing of the National Anthem, Opening Remarks, and the brain storming of each group for the cheers and yells.
The first lecture was about Fiscal Management by Mr. Marco Magbanua. He taught us the importance of saving our money and the benefits of it. The 1 hour lecture taught us that money isn’t something that comes out from a magician’s hat. One should work for it. The second lecture – Parliamentary Procedures, was presented by Mr. Shim Lester De Pio, a faculty, Social Science Department. Each lecture lasted in just an hour, but we learned a lot.
Before our dinner, we were tasked to put our belongings in our rooms and to also familiarize with our roommates. Buffet dinner. After that, we had our General Assembly, announcement of house rules, presentation of calendar of activities, group meetings for our presentations and rehearsals. We ended at 10pm and we were given some time to go swimming for a while. Lights out after that.

2nd DAY

Wake up call at 5:30am then at 6 we had our morning praise and calisthenics led by the Pescar students. After that, we were given time to prepare ourselves for the day’s activities.
The 3rd lecture was given by the Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines – Region 6 (TOSP). We played games such us building a tower out of toothpicks and scotch tapes. The game was very thrilling. In order to build a tower, one must trade their certain garments for the toothpicks. Everyone had their own ideas and strategies. The more exciting part was some of us were tied down, blind folded and even kidnapped. The irritating part was when the order was given that we can destroy the other groups’ tower and so the chaos began. Naked guys were running around pushing others while the girls were trying to defend the tower. It was a total mess. Unfortunately, none of us won! Lessoned learned, in a council, it is inevitable that some of us can’t do their duties right because of some reasons. While others have to sacrifice in order to attain the certain goal and also, some would really do anything just to put you down, or in other words, there are always problems that are lurking. For one council to be called as an organization is easy, but to be a team, one must live up for it.
The second game was all about team building and leadership. It was complicated. We have to transfer an egg from one place to another with limited space by using a self – made scoop out of a half 1.5 bottle and some strings. It took us 3 tries to get the game done. It was really fun and it helped us know each other more; our weaknesses and strengths, capabilities and also our true personalities.
After a short break was the Ten Outstanding Youth Organization (TAYO) 9 Orientation. It was about how one council can be recognized and gets awards with all the achievements and projects they made. Examples of the TAYO awardees were the people from Link.exe last year.
We were given enough time to prepare for tonight’s Talent/Solidarity Night. After our Dinner and a couple of minutes, our Program started. It was totally fun! Everybody was all pumped up with all their talents and jokes. Some danced, sang, impersonated someone, did some commercial, and even got thrown in the air. Over all, it was really great and a very amazing night. Then we proceeded to the solemn part where we were tasked to write our contributions to our councils and how to make it better. Then outside the convention hall, we made a big circle facing the center. We placed our papers inside a box then hugged someone as we did so.
This night was very meaningful. We got closer to each other in a way no one could imagine. I hope that even though were outside, we would still talk to each other.

3rd DAY

Early in the morning, we changed into our SLDP shirts, ate our breakfast, and arranged our things inside the convention hall; we proceeded to the awarding ceremonies. What ever the results during our games were easily forgotten, what we had in our minds were the times when we had so much fun and laughed till our lungs were out of air. We took pictures as we were given our certificates. And as we approached to our closing remarks, while playing the song “Colorblind” some of us bursts into tears and hugged each other. It was really a sad time for us, saying good bye to our friends and not seeing them for quite some time. But overall, it was a good experience. Some things aren’t worth to be thrown and friendship is something worth treasuring. ;)

It's so cold and it's really nice to cuddle up with your favorite pillow and blanky, but I just dont feel like sleeping right now. Maybe tomorrow I could sleep more.

I really need Hermes's flock of sheep.

But honestly, I dont want to close this eyes. I really want to see HIM. oh well... He's on vacation now, and Im happy he's having a good time. I just miss him! He'll be back on wednesday though, then were happy again.

For now, Im the only one who's wide awake in our house. Everyone is sleeping and maybe having some sweetdreams right now. Good for them. Everytime I go to sleep, I always end up having bad dreams! And he is always in it! :( It freaks me out though...But one time, just one time. He was in my "good dream", though I coudn't say it was good. LOL. Anyways, Im out of the topic now....

Reaction paper : The Bridge Master

“The Salvation of all required the sacrifice of one most dear”

John 3:16
“For God so love the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever shall believe in Him shall not perish, but have an eternal life.”

The movie clip is really nice. Even though it’s short and simple it gives a whole lot of meaning. In life, everyday, every person has to sacrifice, may it be for the good of others or for thy self. Problems, tragedies, illnesses, storms, treachery, loneliness, anger, pain. Life is full of surprises. But for us to exactly know the meaning of life, God gave us all this problems for us to know ourselves more and to really trust in Him, to test our faith. He will never leave us alone. He loves us very much that He even gave His only begotten Son for us to be saved from the fires of hell. Christ the Son of our Lord is our saviour. Because of Him we are still alive and we still experience the lusciousness of life.
Aboard that train, different people were on it. Different lives but all were loved by God. The test was given to the bridge master. He had a happy life - a job whom he loves and a son who is with him through it all. But sometimes, life has its own ways of giving a person its tests. He was challenge, either to let all the people on the train die or let his son be crushed by the bridge and let all the people on the train live. It was a crucial decision, but because there are more lives on the train, he chose to let the bridge down for the train to pass. The only problem, his son would die... Is this fair? For some reasons, in the bridge master’s place, it was difficult to choose but all throughout, it was the right thing to do. It is sad for any parent to let go of his child, to die and to save a whole lot of lives. He thought he could still save his son, but he’s only human and human’s get hurt too.
Even the people aboard didn’t even know what was happening. All of them had their own problems and lives. They didn’t even know that a mere second ago, their lives were in danger. With just a pull of a lever they were all saved and only one life was perished. What if the bridge master didn’t pull the lever and went to save his son? All those people would surely die. But because he was thinking of all of those people on the train, he chose to sacrifice, to let go of his only son, his only family. Those people didn’t even know that they were saved by the bridge master because they were selfish enough to care and besides, they were ignorant to what was going around them. As long as they live, as long as they are happy, they’re okay. They were so occupied with their own lives they forget to thank or even apologize to the people around them. The bridge master is like God and the people on the train are like us whom are selfish and only think of our own selves.
God is always watching us. Looking down at us and guiding us in our everyday lives. He doesn’t want us to get hurt or lose our way. He wants us to follow Him and not be taken by the dark side. God loves us so much that He even sent His Son - Jesus Christ to take away all our sins. Sometimes we even forget to thank Him, and instead we still make the things he doesn’t want us to do. God the Father is like our own dad. He wants the best for us and he doesn’t want us to get hurt or be on the wrong side. Somehow, even in the simplest ways or maybe in our greatest ways, we should always obey Him. He gave us this life we have right now and we surely have to use it for good.
“For the greater good.” I always keep this mind. This is a quote from Dumbledore, a character in Harry Potter. Like him, he also wants the best for his students. He would do anything for them to be safe. He would always think of the others safety instead of his own. He is always making the right decisions though it’s not always accurate but he knows best. I sometimes look up to him. Even though he is just a fictional character from a book, but you can always get lessons from him that really helps one person in tackling life’s imperfections. Or maybe, I should look up to the author herself, J.K Rowling. Everyone has his unique way of seeing life. But for most, they always think of the good of the many than the few.
The Bridge master is like God.
He sacrificed His one and only Son, Jesus Christ Who died on the cross for our Sins.
To give us hope for the future. To remind us that whatever happens, God will always be with us. Even if we’ve done a lot of awful things in our pasts or have lost our faith in Him. We are only human and we make sins. We have to always trust in him. He will never forsake us. If He sent His only begotten Son for us to be saved from the fires of hell, what more could He give us if we only stand by His side? God loves us so much and we ought to give the love back by obeying Him. No matter what happens, God will never leave us alone throughout our journey in this world.

major loser

this may sound stupid, but here it goes.
i've always had a crush on this guy, the only problem is...
he is way, way too old for me.
i mean were just ages apart.
he taught me everything i know about one particular thing.
guitar.\m/
i met him when i was in fourth or fifth grade, i think.
as a child, of course i'd be embarrassed if i tell him i like him. LIKE-like.
now, im already in high school, and he’s in college.
last summer ‘08, we really hang out together.
doing stuffs and sometimes chatting about things.
he often comes to my house.
2 months, and summer was over.
i need to go back home and study.
we exchanged messages everynight, and sometimes he actually calls me.
now, the big problem.
LOL.
its not that big.
well, he only confessed to me that he loves me. big deal right?!

i mean, man! that's totally gross!well, yeah. i have a crush on him but i never expected to
turn out this way.
gosh. bull-shark!
i got shy. i keep my distance from him.
and one night, he took back what he had said.
he is such a loser.
he tells me that, maybe i was just too good to be approached,
that’s why he fell for me. or did he?
it makes me sick...
ugh, well, that’s my story.
stupid.stupid.
LOL.
i wish i will never see him again.
